The nine-year anniversary event of TNA Wrestling, “Slammiversary” is in the books. It’s a top-notch card from top to bottom, as champions defend their championships while others defend their pride and glory. Who walks out World Heavyweight Champion? Who walks out the #1 Contender? Does AJ Styles knock the Bully down for good? We’ll answer these questions (and many more), after the break.
The Morning (or three) After: Slammiversary
Staff Pick ‘Ems: Slammiversary 2011
It is time for another TNA Revolution staff pick ‘ems as we take a look at “TNA Slammiversary” and pick out the superstars, who we think will walk out the winners. Brian and myself break down the line-up in this month’s edition as we draw closer to “Slammiversary” live on pay-per-view, this Sunday night. It’s a strong card from top to bottom, so let’s waste no further time and get right into this!
The Morning After: Sacrifice
TNA Wrestling presented their May tradition (minus one year) of “Sacrifice” on May 15th, 2011 from Orlando, Florida. It was a night where “The Icon” Sting would defend his TNA World Heavyweight Championship against a hand-picked, Rob Van Dam. Plus, the TNA World Tag Team Titles would be on the line as Beer Money Inc., met Matt Hardy and Chris Harris. Don’t forget about the lovely TNA Knockouts as Mickie James looked to retain her championship over Madison Rayne. Plus, the X-Division is in action, twice!
TNA Sacrifice Staff Pick ‘Ems
It is time for another TNA Revolution staff pick ‘ems as we take a look at “TNA Sacrifice” and pick out the ones, who we think will walk out the winners. Brian and Adam join myself in this month’s edition as we draw closer to “Sacrifice” live on pay-per-view on May 14th. It’s a stacked card from top to bottom, so let’s waste no further time and get right into this!

Previously on TNA iMPACT…4/28/11
We’re only two weeks removed from TNA “Lockdown” as the entire TNA locker room prepares to make ultimate sacrifices heading into “Sacrifice” in just a few short weeks. Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett have a lot on their mind with Angle’s mistress coming in, AJ Styles wants revenge on Bully Ray, Sting is in a title match, and of course… Mr. Anderson still wants his freaking title shot. This is… “Previously on TNA iMPACT” for April 28th, 2011.
Five IMPACTS From iMPACT!
Hello I’m back with my 5 impacts from Impact!
5. TNA World Title Match Sting vs. Matt Hardy
I know this is a title match but, I don’t see Matt as a believable challenger for the title. Now I am sure some will disagree with me and I’m not saying Matt isn’t a great talent, but I personally don’t think it came across as believable on TV.
The Morning After: Lockdown 2011
It’s the most violent pay-per-view of the year and viewer discretion is advised as TNA puts the entire roster on “Lockdown”. There is no running or hiding as the biggest and brightest stars of TNA Wrestling commence on this occasion every single year to solve their problems. You may get your hand raised at the end of “Lockdown”, but there are really no winners at this event. Who left “Lockdown” with their hand raised and who left “Lockdown” with their dreams crushed? Let’s find out.
MrTheShelldon’s Impact From iMPACT!
I’m back and this time I’m only doing one impact from iMPACT! I want to put all my focus on the best segment of the show.
Okay I’m not going to lie, but I did not watch much of Impact this week. However, what I did see was the six man tag. I thought it gave three single matches some well needed exposure; especially Hernandez and Morgan. The Mexican America storyline is slowly growing on me. It’s no LAX but it’s doing its job of exploiting some cheap heat, which is what wrestling heels were built on.
The Angle vs. Jarrett match is the match I’m most looking forward to, and the fact that there hasn’t been much interaction between the two makes me looks forward to it even more. Seeing them both compete in the same match, beating on each other just builds the tension.
Samoa Joe and The Pope needs a lot of help TNA has dropped the ball on this one. They could have done a lot more. The concept they are pushing on TV is Street vs. Submission. Does this mean that it’s a street fight and a submission match? I’m unsure. And while we are talking about ball dropping, where is Okado? One match and one backstage segment and he is gone?
So this is why this match became my number one impact from iMPACT!
