As we disclosed here yesterday, TNA iMPACT will no longer air on Virgin 1 but will continue to be aired on Bravo, Saturday Nights at 9pm and be repeated throughout the week.
In October a short term change was made to add iMPACT to Friday Nights on Virgin 1 to give the company more exposure to a bigger audiance and to see what ratings the broadcast would bring. (Unfortunatly due to the strong ratings on Virgin 1 we were unable to get any rating details but they continued to draw strong results on Bravo)
TNA originally signed a TV deal in 2007 with Bravo to air iMPACT on Bravo 2, due to the show’s strong ratings in January 2008 they then moved to Bravo’s main channel and succesfully signed a new 18 month deal in July 2008.
With the UK contract soon to expire we should see over the next couple of months wherever Virgin 1 were happy enough with the iMPACT ratings to permenantly show iMPACT on Virgin 1 or they continue to show TNA on Bravo and sign a new deal.
Speaking of TNA on Bravo, TNA Epics will once again start showing in the UK starting this Sunday Morning at 10am with repeats throughout the day.
