PWInsider.com have confirmed that TNA have released Cody Deaner, he’s seaking bookings at cody_deaner@hotmail.com.
Cody had been with TNA Wrestling since the start of 2009 after having various tryout matches with the WWE under his “trailer park redneck” gimmick. Deaner joined the company apart of the “One Night with ODB” angle, the TNA Knockout picked Cody Deaner as her lucky man after a dance competition between Deaner, Shark Boy and a Mr. Bernie Weber and he became her manager for a number of months until he then feuded with ODB over the Knockouts Championship.
Unfortunatly for the Deaner the end was near after Hulk Hogan publically criticised his gimmick for making TNA look cheap and it was only a matter of time before Cody was released from the company.
