If you heard the words “TNA is thinking of re-branding,” what would you think? Would you be excited? Worried? Befuddled? Amused? Or would you laugh it off as another example of TNA giving up on something and trying to start over again? In the history of TNA, we have seen this occur over and over again. Something isn’t sticking or ratings are stagnant, so TNA decides it is time to start fresh. So when PWTorch reported on Monday that TNA is considering re-branding or taking a different approach to the company, I kinda just shrugged it off. I am not making the case for Daffney to come back based solely on the fact that she is smoking hot and I long to see her on my TV. No, there are more reasons than just that. Let’s face it, back in 2007 when TNA finally pulled the trigger on a full fledged woman’s division it was amazing. TNA gave the wrestling world something that had been lacking for many years in the business, a credible female product. Since then, there have been many changes, some good, some bad. As it stands right now, the woman’s division is at a low point.
