(Try) Wrapping Up A Month In One Article!

It has been a month since I have sat down to write an article – and post it – which some people may have mis-understood that it meant that I was no longer a fan of the product thus not writing anything negative about TNA to “save face”. I can’t speak for every writer on the internet that write about TNA Wrestling, but I don’t write to “save face” or play favorites, I write about TNA Wrestling because I enjoy and care about the product. I’ve made it quite clear over the past three years writing for TNA Revolution that I care about the product good, bad, or indifferent. Sure, there are websites that only want “positive” articles on TNA Wrestling, but the world doesn’t work like that: Nothing is perfect. So, since I have cleared that up for future reference… shall we get down to the point of this article? I think so.

TNA History: A Small Problem

“Our plan was simple. We believed that there were 50,000 wrestling fans who would pay $10.00 per week or $40.00 per month to have an alternative to “sports entertainment”. It was a night of action-packed wrestling, honeymoon goodness, new champions, and controversy. You can read my thoughts on the entire show, right after the break.

Staff Picks: Against All Odds 2011

Beer Money Inc & Scott Steiner vs Rob Terry, Gunner & Murphy
Brian: Based solely on the teams, Beer Money and Steiner are leaps and bounds above Terry, Gunner and Murphy talent-wise and experience-wise, so for me it would be insane to pick against them.  Also, in order to advance the Fortune vs Immortal story you gotta go with team Fortune here.

Matt: I am going to have to go with Beer Money Inc & Scott Steiner, as it really does make the most sense in both talent and storyline. TNA would have a very unpredictable match here had they not turned two of the hottest acts in the south east independent scene into jokes. The gimmick [of being security] is fine and works but the lack of build is silly. Beer Money Inc & Scott Steiner have to win this match.
